Matthew C. Buckley, or Buck, is a recent graduate of Boston University currently working in New York as an assistant editor. He writes, directs, edits, and, on occasion, "acts" in many of his own films as well. Buck is happy to collaborate and is always up for work.

Fall 2016

Fall 2017

Nein Means No is my senior thesis project which I wrote and directed. It's a completely over the top farce (I stress a FARCE!!) about a girl who discovers her boyfriend is part of a Nazi fraternity. I was fortunate enough to have a great cast and crew on this who made it all possible.

Winter 2017

I just shot and edited this video highlighting the "Charity Beanpot Challenge" for both the Travis Roy Foundation and the Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation. Both are fantastic charities that do work in the greater Boston Area. See the video for more info.

This was my Advanced Cinematography project in which I had four hours to build a set, light the set, shoot a scene, and take everything down. I think it effectively displays my level of lighting and shooting technique.
